The Nigeria Police has announced plans to deploy policemen to recaptured areas of Adamawa State as part of efforts to establish civil authorities in the north east state.
Addressing members of the command in Yola, the newly posted Assistant Inspector General of Police, Lawal Tanko, said that the planned exercise is a strategic move that will commence soon.
According to the AIG, this is the outcome of DIG Wakama’s recent visit to Gwoza for inspection and assessment of the damage done to Police infrastructure in the seven local government areas of the state by insurgency.
