President Muhammadu Buhari's style is often a lesson in simplicity--a Kaftan, that white inner turtle neck and a pair of Sandal.
And he's good to go.
As our editorial team went through the president's pictures from the previous United Nations General Assembly (UNGA)and this year's, we couldn't help noticing that Buhari's fashion sense hasn't evolved that much. If anything, he's stuck to the basics of his appearance to the minutest detail.
This is President Muhammadu Buhari at the 71st session of the UNGA in 2016:
Seeing as we are sorta colour blind in the News category, we consulted our Style Editor who says this outfit is brown. But we'll let you be the judge as you look at Buhari's outfit from the 72nd session of the UNGA in 2017.

Different colours from this?
Ok, confused yet? Don't worry, you're in good company. Maybe we are just a bunch of colour blind moda f***.
One thing we do know is that the president's stylist probably does a good job of using different colours to produce the same outfits--complete with the same thread patterns and all.
And that's a good thing. Yes? Consider this as well...
President Buhari's fashion style and life choices can be pretty modest, you've got to agree.
For instance, we hear that Buhari's delegation to the 72nd session of the UNGA is the smallest out there and that he arrived his New York Hotel ahead of the talks, in a regular car with just three other cars on the convoy.

According to Aliyu Abdullahi who is a public affairs analyst,"at the Hotel Millennium UN Plaza in New York, guests and dignitaries who thronged out to catch a glimpse of the world leaders, were shocked when the Nigerian president arrived in a convoy of only four vehicles as against at least 30 vehicles and outriders in which Nigerian leaders arrived in the past.
"On arrival at the hotel, the first car on the convoy of President Buhari to pull up, was a Saloon car that conveyed him and his ADC, the second was a black Wagon bus, a third car trailed behind while the fourth had the American FBI inside.
